Prior to this I spent 4 years as a Senior Data Scientist at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) leading a team building advanced data solutions for clients, including the Military Health System , among the nation's largest integrated health systems. I worked to scope, develop and deliver new innovative approaches to incorporating data science into aspects of healthcare operations and clinical decision making. Other roles inlcuded Senior Data Scientist at GovCIO, Lead Scientist at Booz Allen Hamilton and Surveillance Lead at the Altarum Institute. I have studied and published extensively on healthcare utilization and injury patterns among civilian and military populations as well as the impact of state policies on injury rates.

Special Projects
These are some of my special projects, a mix of professional and personal.
Video Previews
Here I'm demonstrating how to use OpenAIs API to query local vectorized data, in this case research manuals and research protocols for the Military Health System. (Git)
Here I developed a simulator for pathways for behavioral health patients across the Military Health System. I use sankey diagrams to vizualize pathway impact with pathway diversions due to strategic decisions such as insurance changes, clinic closures etc.
TeleNovela is a prototype I devleloped using Object Detection (Tensorflow/Keras) and Facial recognition (OpenCV) to match advertisments to users.
A project I did using Library of Congress API to correlate voting records of US Senators and Congresspersons on any voted legislation.
